Flight Information
We have been selling and shipping puppies by air for over 15 years and know all the procedures, vaccinations, and care that is necessary for our puppies to arrive safe, healthy and happy.
We send puppies to their new homes every week on Northwest Airlines all over the continental US. Your puppy travels in a regular kennel, with a gate in the front (this kennel is provided at no extra cost to you). We put shredded paper in the kennel, so your puppy stays as clean and dry as possible during his flight. We feed & water the puppies about an hour before flight time. We DO NOT put food or water in their kennels, This keeps the puppy dry during the flight, and helps to control air sickness.
Your puppy will stay in its kennel the entire flight, UNLESS the plane is delayed. If this should happen, the airlines are required to let them out to exercise, give them fresh food & water, and put new, clean bedding in their kennels.
Your puppy is in air-conditioned or heated conditions, not only while at the airport, but during flight and layovers, as well. They are the last ones put on the plane and the first ones off. Actually, they are treated better and are more comfortable than most human passengers. So, no need to worry!
